Show and Tell: Sticky Notes

Welcome to my (late) contribution to Mel's Show & Tell. Check it out and be sure to circle back to the rest of the class.

Marvy and I work for the same company. We also work with some of the same applications, so when things get really hairy at work, and I have to go in on a weekend to catch up, there have been a few times when he'll go with me and help out. One saturday, he finished up what I had him do, but he didn't want to disturb me so he kept himself busy by leaving me sticky notes and hiding them everywhere at my desk.

They were under my keyboard, behind my picture frame of our wedding day, inside file folders, books, behind the monitor, inside cabinets and drawers. I spent months finding them all.

We are doing a little bit of cubicle shuffling at work this week, so I've been purging and cleaning out my desk. Of course I found some more. Here are just a few:

He calls me Lulu sometimes.

He knows that I will spend much time and effort helping someone try to find the answer, which in turn sometimes makes me really behind with my day.

Usually, when I am right, it means that the process is just going to take that much longer... :o)

People at work always comment on my color coordinating, fashion, and accessories. But, what they don't know, but what HE knows is that I am always color coordinating even down to the unmentionables... *blush*.

We joke that I have an extra marital affair with Justin Case. This is due to the fact of my tendancy to keep things or do things "Just In Case".

There are some other cute ones. Like I said there were a ton of these and I spent months finding them. It was fun to run accross these notes.

I love Marvy, he's so cute.

  2. Awww. So sweet. My husband leaves post-its all over the house whenever he goes out of town. In the fridge, on my pillow, everywhere. It always makes me smile :-)

  7. Okay, seriously, he's too cute! Thanks for stopping by my blog a few days ago. I've been away from the computer since Saturday, so I'm sorry it took so long to leave you a comment.

Sorry about the 1st IUI. I hope the second one is THE ONE. What do you think of acupuncture? I just started two weeks ago and I love it! I definitely felt a little freaked out the first time he started sticking all those needles in, but as an IVF girl, I'm kinda used to being a pin-cushion. Have you read the book The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis? I'd highly recommend it. I blogged about it a couple of weeks ago. It's basically an eastern approach to solving IF issues, rather than a strict western approach. If you enjoy acupuncture, you might want to check it out.

Again, thanks for stopping by. It is nice to meet you. :)

  8. Your hubby sounds too cute! I love when my hubby does little things like this. Little notes like these are worth hundreds of dollars on flower that are just going to die anyway.
